    Real-world performance depends on your theme and other plugins.

    Yes. The plugin is translation-ready, supports Loco Translate, and includes compatibility code for WPML.

    Polylang should work if configured properly, but is not officially tested.

  • I enabled the Coupon step, but it’s not visible. What should I check?

    Go to WooCommerce → Settings → General, and make sure “Enable coupons” is checked.

  • I enabled the separate Shipping step, but it’s not showing. Why?

    Shipping may be hidden because:

    The current order doesn’t require shipping (e.g., virtual/downloadable items)

    WooCommerce is set to use billing as the default shipping address

    Check under WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping → Shipping Options

  • I enabled the Login or Registration step, but it’s not showing. Why?

    Check your WooCommerce account settings:

    Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy

    Enable “Allow customers to log into an existing account during checkout”

    Enable “Allow customers to create an account on the ‘My account’ page”

  • I enabled the plugin and multi-step checkout, but it’s not showing. What should I do?

    Make sure you are using the classic checkout page, not the block-based version.

    This plugin currently works only with the classic (shortcode-based) checkout.

  • Does the plugin support RTL (right-to-left) languages?

    Yes, it fully supports RTL layouts.

  • Does it work with all WooCommerce themes?

    Generally yes. It includes built-in compatibility for popular themes like:

    Astra, GeneratePress, Hestia, Neve, Storefront, Blocksy, Hello Elementor, Kadence, OceanWP, and Zakra.

  • Does the plugin modify the checkout template directly?

    No. It works through standard WooCommerce hooks and JavaScript without overriding template files.

  • Does the plugin support the block-based WooCommerce checkout?

    Not yet. Support for block-based checkout is planned in a future update.

  • Does the plugin support the classic WooCommerce checkout?

    Yes, it fully supports the shortcode-based classic WooCommerce checkout.

  • Is the checkout mobile-friendly?

    Yes. It supports responsive design, swipe gestures, and navigation buttons for a smooth mobile experience.

  • Does the plugin save user progress if the page is reloaded?

    Yes. The plugin uses WooCommerce sessions to save progress — reloading the page won’t reset their position.

  • Can customers go back to a previous step?

    Yes. Customers can use the Previous button or click completed steps to return and update information.

  • Can customers skip steps?

    Yes, unless you enable the Force Sequential Checkout option — which prevents skipping and enforces step order.

  • Can I require users to complete a step before proceeding?

    Yes. Enable the Validate Steps Before Proceeding option in the General tab to enforce step-by-step validation.

  • Does the plugin include a loading indicator during checkout?

    Yes. When users move between steps, a loading animation is displayed.

    You can choose from three styles:

    Spinning Circle (default), Grid Bounce, or Pulsing Bars — available under the Style tab.

  • How do I change the colors of the steps and buttons?

    You can customize the colors under the Appearance tab in the plugin settings.

    = Can I change the visual style of the stepper? =

    Yes. Under the Style tab, you can choose from multiple stepper styles such as default, icon bar, or breadcrumb.

  • Can I change the labels or titles of each step?

    Yes. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → LWN Multi-Step Checkout → Text & Labels.

    There, you can edit the step titles, button texts, and other labels to match your store’s tone and language.

  • Can I disable specific checkout steps?

    Yes. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → LWN Multi-Step Checkout → General, and toggle off any steps you don’t want to include.

  • How do I enable or disable specific steps in the checkout process?

    In the General tab of the plugin settings, you can enable or disable the multi-step checkout feature.

    Below that, you’ll find options to enable or disable individual steps like Login, Shipping, Coupon, and others.

    Simply check the boxes next to the steps you want to activate or deactivate, then save your settings.

  • Where can I find and configure the LWN Multi-Step Checkout settings?

    You can find the plugin settings inside your WordPress admin dashboard by navigating to:
